Family Conference

Every year SEND Taiwan has a family conference around Easter time for all her missionary families and staff to rejuvenate, report. and recalibrate their strategy. This year’s theme was “unity”. Usually this is for family and friends only. We “lucked out” as when we applied for our short-term mission, it coincided with their conference, and there was one room left in the small hotel they have booked for the event. So we were able to participate even though we were outsiders. Not only that, we were invited to share in two workshops on “communication” and “affirmation”. subjects we’ve learned in Leadership Matters Course last year and were looking for opportunities to practice. The 3-nights retreat proved to be a good break for spiritual replenishment, as well as physical rest and recreation. Here are a few photos:
