Science Museum

After eight weeks of serving and classes, we got a rest day, so we visited Taichung’s National Museum of Natural Science http://www.nmns.edu.tw/index_eng.html
It is quite an interesting place consisting of the following halls:
* Science – physics, chemistry, astronomy, electronics,
* Life Science – nature, with a special dinosaur exhibit,
* Human Cultures – Chinese medicine, technology, spiritual life, and
* Global Environment.

The section on ancient Chinese technology is especially interesting. There are also five theaters, including Space, 3D, Bird’s Eye-View, Environment and Science on a Sphere (SOS), each with different shows. There is a Botanical Garden attached, which we will visit next time.
