Part of the fun in teaching kids is that they don’t care how bad your Mandarin is. Yes they’ll laugh at your mispronunciation in your face, but you just laugh it off. They learned their lesson and they remembered it, which is more than any Sunday school teacher would ask for. And when they grow older, they have fond memories of how much they loved going to Sunday school, and the God and teachers who loved them. You miss a lot if you don’t step out of your comfort zone to explore what God is doing outside of your own little world. Take a mission trip and see for yourself.
