Worship Styles

We worshipped at different churches to observe the differences from Canada. The first church has two services in the morning – an early one at 10 am for adults, and a second one at noon for younger folks. The early service uses traditional hymns, but the pianist who plays an electronic keyboard sings at an opera performance caliber:

The second service has a band just like most churches in N. America, except the songs are all translated into their own language:

Worship styles had been much debated in N. America, with people polarized around traditional or contemporary styles. But it need not be one or the other. Just travel around the world and see how different cultures worship, and you will realize that God is greater than our personal preferences and accepts all worship in spirit and in truth.
